Nida Manzoor

A Broadcast Magazine “Hotshot”, Nida Manzoor is a prolific and award-winning genre-comedy writer and director.

With a stellar background in short-film, in 2018 Nida directed the first series of hit BBC comedy series “ENTERPRICE” – written by and starring Kayode Ewumi and in 2019 she directed two critically-acclaimed episodes of the cult BBC sci-fi show “Doctor Who” starring Jodie Whittaker.

In 2020, Nida conceived, wrote and directed the BAFTA and Peabody winning musical sitcom “We Are Lady Parts” for Channel4/NBC. The show is an exuberant and irreverent musical comedy about the trials and tribulations of an all-female Muslim Punk band. The second series of “We Are Lady Parts” premiered in May 2024.

In 2023, Nida made her feature film debut with the critically-acclaimed martial-arts comedy “Polite Society”.
