Errol Morris

Errol Morris is one of the most widely celebrated and critically-acclaimed documentary filmmakers on the planet. His hugely-influential body of work runs the full gamut of documentary and drama across TV, film and commercials.

Morris’s feature films have won many awards, including an Oscar for “The Fog of War”, the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival for “A Brief History of Time”, the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival for “Standard Operating Procedure”, and the Edgar from the Mystery Writers of America for “The Thin Blue Line”.

Recent work include 2017’s much-lauded Netflix docudrama series  “Wormwood”, 2018’s “American Dharma” and 2020’a “My Psychedelic Love Story”. All were produced by Moxie Pictures.

Errol is equally as accomplished in the world of commercials. He has helmed iconic campaigns for global brand such as Nike, Apple and Miller High Life and has also directed much-accoladed short films for the New York Times, IBM and the Academy Awards.

Errol’s latest film is “The Pigeon Tunnel” for Apple TV+ – a drama-documentary portrait of the legendary espionage-author John Le Carré.
