Moxie Pictures is thrilled to announce that we have signed acclaimed director Rebecca Miller to our growing roster of exceptional talent. 

Renowned novelist, director and producer Rebecca Miller is an Emmy nominee and past winner of the Sundance Grand Jury Prize, Gotham Prize, and Independent Spirit Award. She has written and directed six feature films, including Angela, Personal Velocity, The Ballad of Jack and Rose, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, Maggie’s Plan, Arthur Miller: Writer, and She Came To Me. Miller wrote the screenplay for the feature film Proof and is the author of two short story collections, “Personal Velocity” and “Total,” and the novels “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” and “Jacob’s Folly.” She adapted both “Personal Velocity” and “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” for the screen. Several of her films are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.

Miller’s most recent project, Mr. Scorsese, premiered at the NYFF to critical acclaim and has become a global sensation. It recently took home two Critics Choice Awards for Best Biographical Documentary and Best Limited Documentary Series.
