On International Day of the Girl, The Global Goals and Project Everyone launched a short film, directed by MJ Delaney, celebrating girls around the world and their fight for freedom.

The video, which was featured on Google’s homepage, follows girls from near and far dancing and singing to Beyoncé’s “Freedom.” It provides heartbreaking facts about the struggles that girls face worldwide, like the prevalence of violence against women and the challenge of keeping girls in school, while also providing realistic goals for the future to right these wrongs by 2030.

These Global Goals include ending all forms of violence against girls, putting all girls in school, ending the AIDS epidemic, and ending child marriage.
