Netflix is diving into music mysteries with the new series “ReMastered,” and the first episode centered on the shooting of Bob Marley is directed by our own Kief Davidson.

“Who Shot the Sheriff?” will explore the infamous attempt at Bob Marley’s life in December 1976, leading to an exploration of the complicated political tensions facing Jamaica in the 1970s.

According to Rolling Stone, this episode and the entire series will hint at possible answers to some of music’s biggest mysteries. The episodes will roll out monthly, telling stories that include the murder of Run-DMC’s Jam Master Jay, the 1964 death of soul legend Sam Cooke, and more.
