We’re proud of our directors Edgar Wright and Benjamin Caron for their work this year on Baby Driver and The Crown, respectively. Baby Driver picked up Oscar nominations for Best Film Editing, Best Sound Editing, and Best Sound Mixing, while both directors picked up a number of Empire Award nominations.

In addition to three Oscar nods, Baby Driver picked up five Empire Award nominations for Best Director, Best Thriller, Best Soundtrack, Best Production Design, and Best Male Newcomer (Ansel Elgort). Caron’s The Crown picked up three nominations, with Best TV Series and Best Male and Female Actor in a TV Series (Claire Foy and Matt Smith).
