A documentary director with an eye for stunning photographic compositions and a passion for music-culture, Huse began his career at MTV UK before entering the world of music-video with iconic films for artists such as Snow Patrol, Arctic Monkeys and the now infamous video for Eric Prydz’s “Call On Me”.
In 2011 he directed his first feature, a documentary about DJ & Producer David Guetta, funded by Coca-Cola, and screened in cinemas worldwide. Following on from this, he has shot films for BBC’s Hackney Weekend, YouTube, MasterCard and The MOBO awards. He has an incredible facility for evoking natural and unaffected performances from celebrities and has worked with Tinie Tempah, Pharrell and Laura Mvula.
His latest short film about the seminal artist Chris Wilson was picked up by Dazed and Confused, and selected in Nowness ‘Picks’. Huse is currently developing it into a feature film based on the artist’s life.
