Frank Todaro began his career on the agency side as an award-winning copywriter, before transitioning to directing, teaming first with Bryan Buckley.
As part of Buckley.Todaro, Frank built a body of work including the highly acclaimed ESPN Sportscenter campaign- widely regarded as the top television campaign of the 1990’s. Creativity Magazine called Buckley Todaro’s work “funnier than reruns of the Honeymooners.”
In 1997, Frank wrote and directed his first feature film, Above Freezing, which was an official selection of the Seattle Film Festival. He began his solo career in 1998, directing memorable spots for Nike, FedEx, Budweiser, Snickers, American Express, Polaroid, Heineken, Southwest Airlines, and the highly awarded FX Networks campaign. During his extensive career, Frank has garnered every major award in the advertising industry.
Frank joined Moxie Pictures in 2003 and has remained at the very top of the commercial directing world for over a decade.
